A tragic car accident involving officials of the Delta Queens FC has sent ripples of concern through the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL). The incident occurred near Ijebu Ode as the team officials were en route to Ikenne for their Matchday 10 encounter with Remo Stars Ladies.
The NWFL, responding to the accident, expressed deep sorrow and extended their heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the unfortunate event. The league pledged its solidarity with the Delta Queens FC and the Delta State government during this trying moment.
