Plaintiff was hit by a car while he was riding his bicycle carrying a large satchel of clothes to the Laundromat. The accident occurred at an intersection in Queens. The plaintiff admitted he disobeyed a red light before entering the intersection. As a result of the accident, the plaintiff fractured his leg. The insurance carrier took a “no pay” position based upon several witness statements and the plaintiff’s own admission.
