Richard S. Jaffe, Trial Attorney and Litigator
Attorney Richard S. Jaffe is known for his reputation as a fierce litigator and trial attorney who has secured several multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements over the past 20 years. Fighting for the rights of those who have been injured as a result of negligence may be Richard’s passion, but that is just the beginning when it comes to the myriad ways he gives back to his community.
As a native third-generation New Yorker, Richard goes above and beyond to do his part to keep this a great place to live, work, and visit. In addition to protecting the rights of the injured, Richard Jaffe also volunteers as a Firefighter and Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-CC) on Long Island. He also volunteers as a coach for local lacrosse and basketball teams.
Richard paid for his college and Law school tuition at Binghamton University by working when he wasn’t busy with his studies. He also began working as a paralegal for a major personal injury firm, where he was proud to be in a position to give a voice to the Hispanic community. After pioneering a string of lead paint poisoning lawsuits involving infants, he went on to become a member of many prestigious circles, including the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Richard is fluent in Spanish, and he has a working knowledge of five other languages. Those who know Richard would describe him as committed, smart, energetic, caring, and the world’s worst (yet most enthusiastic) dancer.
