Reagan & Jax Cohen Memorial Golf Tournament

Founding partner Steve Cohen and the rest of us at The Law Office of Cohen & Jaffe invite you to join us at the inaugural Reagan & Jax Cohen Memorial Golf Tournament on September 22.

The event at Pine Hollow Country Club in East Norwich, Long Island, is a memorial to Steve’s two grandchildren and a benefit for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Three-year-old Reagan Cohen and 18-month-old Jaxson Cohen died in an ATV accident while visiting their grandparents in Tennessee last spring. The children’s grandmother, 60-year-old Renee Monroe, also died in the tragic accident.

The golf tournament will begin with registration and breakfast at 9:30 a.m. followed by an 11:30 tee time, cocktails at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6:30, and a Texas Hold ’Em tournament at 8 p.m.

The fee is $400 per person for golf and dinner; $100 for dinner only; and $500 for the cash-only poker game. There will also be several raffles. Tee box sponsorships are available for $500 per sign.

The golf tournament will be limited to 144 players.

“We’re hoping to have a full day of fellowship and raise some money for two very fine organizations that do a lot for children,” Cohen said. “We hope to see many friends of the Cohen & Jaffe law firm for all or at least part of the day.”

Cohen offered his thanks to the Pine Hollow Country Club and expressed hope that the tournament would become an annual event.

The rain date for the golf tournament is October 6.
