Car Crash Kills Young Expectant Couple And Their Child

A man accused of driving at a high speed on a Brooklyn street, crashing into and killing the occupants of a hired car, turned himself in Pennsylvania. He will be returned to New York to face charges in connection with the fatal crash. According to authorities, the man crashed into a car with a 21-year-old couple in it. The couple was seven months pregnant with their first child and, at the time of the crash, they were on their way to the hospital. The couple died and their son, who was delivered prematurely by cesarean section, also died later due to the extreme prematurity.

Family, friends and neighbors of the couple, who belonged to the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, were devastated by the news. It is hard to imagine or cope with such a tragic loss and, the grieving families may wonder why them.
