We recovered $200,000 for an 82-year-old woman who was hit by a turning vehicle while walking across the street. The crash left her with a partial scapholunate ligament tear and a complete TFCC tear, both of which caused significant wrist pain and limited mobility. After several months of non-surgical treatment, she required arthroscopic surgery involving a total synovectomy and major debridement. The driver’s insurer attempted to minimize the impact of the crash, but our investigation and medical documentation showed a clear link between the collision and her injuries. The case, filed in the Supreme Court, Queens County, resolved for an amount that acknowledged both her physical harm and the challenges she faced during recovery.
